Disney | My Disney Fireplace

Hi blog friends!!

As you probably know by now I love Disney! So it might come as a surprise that I have a part of my room dedicated to it! I call it my Disney fireplace and my favourite thing is adding to it! Since I took these pictures I have actually added a mini Donald Duck plush and a mini Marie plush, so I might have to do an updated version before I move out!

Before I start the fairy lights and heart bunting are from amazon.co.uk, I just typed in fairy lights and these pretty much were the first result haha and then I typed in shabby chic and scrolled through and found the bunting.

Starting not he left, the wicker heart is from Homebase and is just a little decoration.
The first Disney related item is this picture of Belle which my friend Marisa gave me for Christmas which was so lovely of her, then I have the Christmas Dumbo whose little scarf and hat are adorable and that was from the Disney Store.
Next is my Belle spritz which I don't use because it smells kind of weird haha but I couldn't not get it, I mean come on it's Belle!
Then I have a candle and wax melts from MapleandWhisky which is an amazing Etsy shop that make Disney and Harry Potter inspired candles, the wax melts are Mickey Waffles and the candle is Rice Krispy Treats and they both smell AMAZING! I have a few more but I will get onto that later!

Next the centre section of the fireplace is mainly Princess themed, starting with the shoe ornaments I have 3 in total Rapunzel, Cinderella and Aurora. I picked up Rapunzel in DLP on my birthday trip and you can see everything else I got here, I got Cinders for Christmas and Aurora I bought from The Disney Store online. I adore these show ornaments and I am itching to get Belle (they were all broken in DLP and sold out on the Disney Store) so I can have my 4 favourite Princesses.
In the middle is a picture of Bob and myself on our first holiday together in Tenerife at the Siam Park water park, I love this picture we look so young haha! Next I have a canvas drawing of Belle which I got at DLP and I really want the Snow White and Alice ones because they are drawn so beautifully.

Finally the right side starts with this absolutely stunning Sleeping Beauty Storybook Disney Traditions. This was a Christmas present from my dad and I was so surprised when I opened it, I was so grateful I couldn't believe he had got this for me. I have been wanting this for SO long and I sometimes just stare at how beautiful it is! I would love to get the Beauty and the Beast one to go next to it and even the Tangled one but they are so expensive so for now I am extremely happy to have this one!
Next is another candle from MapleandWhisky and this is in the scent Goofy's Peppermint Bark and it smells like mint chop chip ice cream.
Then we have a mini Mickey plush, sadly without Minnie because they don't do Minnie in her red dress in this size at the Disney Store only her pink dress and to me that just isn't Minnie so I'm refusing to buy her, so right now he has Donald next to him!
Last but not least we have a picture of my dad, sister, brother and myself on Expedition Everest the last time we went to Walt Disney World (we are obviously in the second and last rows and yes that Thing 1 tee still fits!) This is one of my favourite pictures ever, we decided what we were going to do in the picture the whole queue and I think was the 4th time we went on haha!
There is only one other picture from this Disney trip that tops this and that is the ride photo from Dinosaur which maybe one day I'll show on here, it's hilarious!

Then I have these 2 hanging tree decorations at each end which were a Christmas present from Bob.

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at my Disney fireplace, I'm sure I'll do an updated version soon because I buy little bits for it all the time! What is your favourite thing on the fireplace?

Lots of love

Beauty | The Body Shop Drops Of Youth

Hi blog friends!!

I have recently discovered the Drops of Youth range from The Body Shop, well I bought the Bouncy Sleeping Mask ages ago but I didn't know they had brought out a whole range.
I loved the sleeping mask so I knew I was going to love these products, as I love the smell and they are all really cooling on the skin.

The first product is the Drops of Youth Youth Essence Lotion which is a gel consistency but turns watery when rubbed into the skin. This can be applied with your fingers tips or a cotton wool pad, I opt for the cotton wool pad as I feel that it really clears my skin of any dirt and leaves it feeling very fresh and clean.
This product can be used in the morning and evening after your cleanser but before your toner, to leave your skin completely clean and ready for the rest of your skin care routine.
As I have said I love the smell of this product, it's very subtle and fresh and has left my skin feeling amazing. Since using it I have only had 1 breakout and I think that was from eating crappy food haha, but I would totally recommend this product to all skin types! The Youth Essence is totally affordable and a really great addition to my skin care routine, I wouldn't be without it now!

Next is the Drops of Youth Concentrate Serum. This product smells exactly the same as the rest of the range so yes I love it! It comes in a really nice glass bottle with a pump lid and is quite a thick consistency which thins out as you rub it into your skin.
It claims to give you smoother and younger looking skin and I totally agree with this, my skin looks so much smoother once I put this on and feels really fresh. It can be a little sticky once rubbed and patted into the skin but that only lasts a few seconds.
My only gripe with this product is the pump lid, I don't know if I just got a pump that doesn't work well but it takes so many tries to get any product to go into the tube, luckily you don't need much of this product only 2 squirts but still the pump is very frustrating, especially when my Kiehls pump on my Midnight Concentrate and other oils are amazing! But still this doesn't take away from the product, it really is a great serum and I would totally recommend it! They also do an anti-ageing version. This is quite a pricey product, but totally worth it!

I love The Body Shop so much, it is one of my all time favourite shops for skin care. I have a Body Shop points card/loyalty card which is one of the best things I have ever done, they are constantly giving me money off items and £5 rewards etc. So if you shop there a lot get yourself one of these amazing loyalty cards because they come with so many perks! Just pop into your local Body Shop and ask at the counter for one!
What are your favourites from The Body Shop?!

Beauty | Lush Haul

Hi blog friends!!

I recently went home (back to Devon) and rediscovered my love of baths, so thought I would do a little Lush order especially because right now in London it is absolutely freezing and baths are so comforting and cosy, so thought I would order a few old favourites and some new things to try out!

Firstly I got my 2 absolute favourites, Butterball and Frozen. They both smell amazing, Butterball is full of cocoa butter and ylang ylang and smells like chocolate which is incredible, it also leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling amazing.
Next is Frozen and this smells like grapefruit and neroli although I think it smells kind of minty, it leaves your skin very sparkly and turns your bath an amazing blue!
Next I picked up another Lovers Lamp from the Valentines Day collection, this also smells like cocoa butter (which is my absolute fave!), orange and vanilla. It also has these amazing red hearts in that are really moisturising and smell fantastic!

Next is a bath bomb I haven't tried yet and that is Intergalactic. It smells really minty which is lovely and has SO many colours in, so I am very excited to put this one in the bath. I have read a lot about his bath bomb and everyone seems to love it, so I'm looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about!
Then I have Honey Bee which is actually my favourite bath bomb ever, it smells like Honey I Washed The Kids soap, which I used to have when I was younger so the scent is really nostalgic to me as well as being incredibly amazing, it literally makes my mouth water haha. It leaves your skin feeling absolutely amazing, so soft and smelling great.

The last bath bomb I purchased is from the Easter collection and I could have bought so many from this range because it all sounds amazing!
I got myself the Fluffy Egg which is the most adorable name so obviously had to get it! It smells like Snow Fairy so I know this won't be for everyone but I LOVE this scent. It also has these very cute flowers on and I can imagine this is going to turn my bath water SO pink, I can't wait!

The last 2 items are a shower cream and some toothy tabs.
I have had the Sparkle toothy tabs before and they worked so well I loved them (although if you don't like the taste of black pepper DO NOT GET THESE!), but because I obviously left them in the bathroom the cardboard box got wet and then all the toothy tabs squished into one and kind of melted (and they aren't cheap so I was very upset) so I am so happy to see that they are now in a proper plastic bottle which means they won't melt!
Then lastly I got myself the Yuzu and Cocoa shower cream because I have heard loads of people talk about it and say they really like it because it smells like chocolate, which it does! I love the vibrant colour and I can't wait to use when my Body Shop Lemon shower gel runs out!

Lush has some absolutely amazing stuff and right now their Mothers Day and Easter collections are really great, so you should definitely check them out!
What are your favourite Lush products?!

Disney | Disney Wishlist #4

101 Dalmatians Vans | Star Wars Logo T-Shirt | Sleeping Beauty Print | Chip Necklace | Tinker Bell Mug | Rapunzel & Pascal Funko | Mini Marie Britto Figure | Star Wars Pyjamas | Chewbacca Plush

Hi blog friends!!

This is honestly my favourite type of post to write because I flippin' love Disney and searching through the Disney Store and Truffle Shuffle for amazing Disney gems is my favourite past time. This wishlist is actually pretty full because I have been absolutely converted to Star Wars but more on that later haha.

First up are the 101 Dalmatians classic Vans, I am dying to get something from this Vans range because this was my FAVOURITE Disney film when I was younger and I just adore these classic Vans and the colour.
Okay so before I went to see The Force Awakens I was NEVER a Star Wars fan but OH MY GOD I WAS MISSING OUT SO MUCH! I have now watched every single film about 3 times each so when I saw this t-shirt I knew I wanted it because it's not too in your face Star Wars but obviously is a little which I like haha!
I have included a few of these prints before and maybe even this Sleeping Beauty one, but I think they are absolutely stunning and would love to get some to put in some nice frames and hang them up, but unfortunately in my uni flat we aren't allowed to put things on the walls so I'll just have to wait till I get my own place haha.
I love Disney jewellery because you can wear it and it's not too in your face and this Chip necklace is SO adorable and Chip is one of my favourite characters.
Recently I have been really into the whole Tinker Bell/Fairy side of Disney, I don't particularly like Tink in Peter Pan but I love her films and this mug is from the Swing in to Spring collection at DLP and I love the colours on it and the drawing of Tink is beautiful.
I'm a collector of Funko Pop's (read my last post here) and I have wanted this Rapunzel and Pascal for soooo long but it is always sold out so next time I see it in stock I'm just going to bite the bullet haha.
I love the Britto collection that you can get at the Disney Parks and I really want either the Belle or Minnie, but this is a mini Marie which would fit absolutely perfectly on my Disney fireplace, Marie is my all time favourite Disney character and I love her bow it looks so cute!
Okay so the last 2 things are, yes Star Wars haha.
First are these amazing pyjamas from TopShop, I love these because the picture is from the original set of films (which are my faves!) and I just love that picture, also the shorts are so cute!
Lastly is this ADORABLE Chewie plushie. Chewie is definitely my favourite Star Wars character (plus Han) and I swear if you can meet him a WDW I'm going to cry. I just love him and this plushie is too cute not to want/need!

What Disney things are you loving right now!?

Lots of love

Valentines Day | Gift Guide For Her

Hi blog friends!!

Before we start I just want to say this is just a bit of fun! These are just ideas and the examples I have chosen are just things I would personally like as a gift or not!

So we all know that Valentines Day is coming up quickly, and I thought I would do a little post about a few gifts that would be a lovely little gift/dream! Although this will be the only post because I don't think Valentines Day is anything special and just another commercialised day, but I digress.

I know that obviously a relationship isn't built on the gifts you receive on Valentines Day, but who doesn't like a bit of spoiling now and again! (You should spoil and show your love for your girlfriend/boyfriend on more than one day a year though haha)!

So here we go...

1) Lingerie:

Sometimes a girl just needs to feel confident and the way to do that is some gorgeous new lingerie. I love this Rosie Huntington-Whitely set from M&S because it is such a pretty colour. There's actually a whole bunch of really lovely sets in M&S at the moment so grab your boyf and go have a browse for something you can both appreciate (if he feels uncomfortable, tell him to man up)!

2) A Gift Set:

As a girl, I love nothing more than receiving a good old gift set with lots of nice new products to try out. Boots have some great offers on gift sets right now (surprise surprise) including this amazing Champneys box full of bath and skin care bits. Although some people might not see an already put together gift set very thoughtful, I think they are great as you get lots of products at once!

3) Lush Products:

A bit like number 2, but Lush products will always go down well if not just for the Instagramableness (did I just make a new word, yup!). They always bring out a lovely Valentines range with lots of new products from bath bombs to shower gels and lip glosses to unicorn horns there is a lot to choose from, but even if you can't find something from the seasonal range everyone has their favourites from the rest of the store, so there is a lot to choose from!

4) Candles:

Candles are the way to my heart, right now in my bedroom I can see 13 candles and yes I want more (sung like Sharpay from HSM). Candles are such a great present for me because unless it smells like popcorn I'm probably going to like it! Yankee do some incredible scents, and I love this Peony one because it's so subtle and fresh. For me this is probably the gift I would love the most! The thing I love about candles is there are so many different brands, you can either go cheap and cheerful or more expensive and luxurious (did I just describe candles as luxurious, yes I did and I am ashamed hell no!).

5) Make Up:

I could spend all day talking about/browsing/looking at make up which makes it the perfect gift. PERSONALLY I think if make up is going to be a gift it needs to be a bit more high end so anything from MAC, Urban Decay, Benefit etc. This new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in 'Between the Sheets' has a very fitting name for Valentines Day and is such a lovely girly pink, plus just think about the Instagram pics you could get of it!!

6) Perfume:

An age old classic Valentines present but one that always goes down very well! Perfume is quite a risky game because everyone is so different and I am very picky with my scents. I have been lusting over this Tom Ford fragrance for months and months and months now but I cannot justify spending nearly £80 on a perfume, oh well. Receiving a beautiful bottle of perfume though is a really lovely gift and something I would be over the moon about!

7) FitBit Charge:

Now something completely different from the classic/cliche presents on this list! If your girlfriend is into fitness and wellbeing, getting her a Fitbit could be a really great gift. Now I know that it is SUPER £££ but you could always say it is her birthday present as well or even ask to go halfs with her! This is something I have wanted for a really long time because I need something to motivate me to get up and go and this little device beeps when you need to get off your backside.

So there you have it, a few things that could be given as presents for Valentines! This year my boyfriend and I aren't doing presents or anything big just going for a meal, mainly because we are saving for Florida but this doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Like I said this is just a bit of fun, you can spend as much or as little on the person you love this Valentines Day and I hope whatever you receive and give, you absolutely love!

Lots of love

Lifestyle | January Favourites

Hi blog friends!!

So it's that time again when we wave goodbye to January and WHAT THE HELL!!!???
Seriously how can it already be February already, absolutely crazy! But nevertheless it does mean that I can share with you guys my favourite things of January.

I had such a hard time choosing these favourites, it seemed like I just loved everything last month haha! But I did manage to narrow it down!
Beauty:

To start off the beauty category is this amazing Shampoo from Mark Hill. It is the MiracOILous Nourishing Shampoo for damaged and dry hair. This stuff is literally incredible, it smells like a sherbet Dip-Dab and does exactly what it says on the bottle.
My hair has never felt so smooth and it has a lovely shine to it instead of being ruined with split ends and all frizzy!
I had never tried Mark Hill products before, but I will definitely be trying more because this shampoo is fantastic and very affordable! There's also a deal on in Boots right now so go check it out!

First off this product is so unique, instead of being a normal night cream it is a mousse texture like it has been air whipped which means it is a very light consistency but the hydration it gives you is incredible.
This is the first night cream I have ever stuck with because I have seen such great results! My skin feels smooth and plump in the morning and you can feel that it is still moisturised. It has a very light smell, it smells faintly like watermelon which is nice.
I recommend this to anyone who has dry skin who is looking for a night cream!

This is pretty much a cult product, I see lots of bloggers talking about this cleansing balm and now I can see exactly why!
I have tried so many cleansers/cleansing balms that just don't seem to work and leave my skin clean but not as clean as I'd like, but this product leaves my face squeaky clean and feeling so fresh. It has helped clear up my skin after a bout of quite bad acne over the Christmas/New Year period. It also takes off make up like a dream, would recommend this to everyone!!

Now this might be a bit OTT but this mascara has literally changed my life!!! Seriously this is THE best mascara I have ever tried.
It claims to curl, separate, give volume, length and drama all in one and my gosh does it deliver. The wand is the perfect size and has amazing bristles that catch every single lash and coats them beautifully. The packaging is also so simple and elegant, everything about this mascara is perfect (except maybe the price haha).

I got this as a Christmas present from my brother (big up for that) and I have not stopped wearing it since! It seems like this is very hit and miss with a lot of people but for me, it is a total hit!
On my lips it is a 'your lips but better' red with a hint of brown which suits my skin tone really nicely! It is such a great everyday lippy!

Hollister has such a great range of body mists ranging from sweet and fruity to more subtle floral ones! But hands down my favourite is the Crescent Bay mist. It smells so fresh and fruity and I always get lots of compliments when I wear it (although because it's a body mist it doesn't last as long as perfume). The smell is typical Hollister and by that I mean it smells like the shop which I LOVE! They were on a 2 for £18 offer when I bought it so I also got the blue one which is called Solana Beach.

This is my new favourite perfume of all time. Not only is the bottle absolutely adorable with that huge and incredibly soft pom pom but the smell is actually so beautiful.
When you think of a celebrity perfume, you tend to think classic generic smells but this smells so classy and upmarket, but also really fun and young. I have worn this perfume literally everyday, you only need a small amount for it to last pretty much all day as well! Great staying power and a really feminine fragrance.

Music:

CHVRCHES - Every Open Eye Album

My first music favourite of January is CHVRCHES most recent album Every Open Eye.
I love the whole album, there is not one bad song on there! Seriously it is actually incredible! I have loved CHVRCHES for so long and this album just makes me love them more.
I am so sad because I only found out today that they are playing in London and it is all sold out (cry)! I would love to see them live, they are one of my all time favourite bands!

Shawn Mendes - Stitches

Oh my gosh I cannot stop playing this song, seriously I listen to it pretty much on repeat every single day. When I wake up, in the shower, when I'm getting ready, when I'm chilling out, when I'm blogging, when I'm taking pictures, you get the gist! I honestly adore this song haha I love the chorus and once it gets in my head that's it for the rest of the day!

Miscellaneous:

Booking Florida

Obviously my last favourite of the month was booking our trip to Disney World/Florida with my boyfriend! I am beyond excited, we talk about it every single day, watch vlogs about WDW, read articles, literally anything to do with it! We are just SO excited and we are both very sad that it isn't sooner but we know that this year will fly by and it will be time to go before we know it!

January has been a month of ups and downs and now it is time to get back into uni work, so goodbye January and hello February!
What were you loving in January?!

Lots of love
