Disney | Updated Tsum Tsum Collection

Hi blog friends!!

Before we start, please excuse my grim uni flat window sill!

Now I am a lover of all things Disney (if you couldn't tell ha) so when they first introduced Tsum Tsum's I knew I was going to be obsessed with them, because they're so damn cute!!!!
My first post on these little cuties contained 11 and well...now I have 81 (2 are not pictured)!!
I know I know, that is excessive (baring in mind I don't have certain collections/full collections) but I enjoy collecting them!

I only buy them from the DisneyStore.co.uk mainly so I know they're authentic, I do have 2 from Clinton Cards, but I find they aren't as squishy or soft as the Disney Store ones.
I do also have a few from Disneyland Paris, again that way I know they're authentic.
They are £3 in the DS, £3.50 in Clintons and €5.99 in DLP.
Another reason I stopped buying from Clintons was that for some reason they put the price up by 50p, what is that about!?

So since my first post about my collection I have acquired the:

  • Duffy Bear & Shellie May
  • Lilo & Stitch (2/6)
  • Winnie the Pooh part 1 (4/4)
  • Aladin (4/8)
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas (5/8)
  • Cinderella (5/9)
  • Pinocchio (2/4)
  • The Little Mermaid (8/8)
  • Avengers (3/6)
  • The Classic Character Christmas Collection (8/8)
  • Peter Pan (7/10)
  • Inside Out (3/6)
  • Winnie the Pooh part 2 (5/6)
  • Mickey & Minnie expression Tsum's
  • The Lion King (8/9)
  • Dumbo & Marie medium Tsum's (not pictured)
There are lots more collections I would love to get my hands on including; Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6, Frozen, 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland and Toy Story just to name a few haha!

The next release for Tsum Tsum Tuesdays is Zootopia which I am super annoyed about!
My rule for buying these is, if I haven't seen the film I don't buy the merch (unless it involves the fab 5/originals).
I know this is all a marketing strategy but still, the film isn't out till March I believe so why not release them then, that way you can watch the film and decide if you like the characters or not!
Oh well on the bright side it saves me £30 next month haha, but I would have preferred if they bought out the Tangled ones (IM SO EXCITED FOR THEM)!!!

My favourites from my collection are Rafiki, Figaro, Bing Bong, Roo, The expression Mickey and Minnie, actually all of them!!!
Do you collect these little cuties?! Which ones are your favourites?

Lots of love

Disney | Booking A Trip To Walt Disney World

Hi blog friends!!

So, if you don't follow me on Twitter you might not have seen that me and my boyfriend have bitten the bullet and booked a trip to Florida for September 2017.
Now I know what you're thinking, that is SUPER far away (believe me I know and the waiting is already killing both of us haha), but I thought I would share with you how we went about booking, what tools I used to research certain things and at the end I will tell you exactly what we went with.

When To Go?

So you're thinking of booking a holiday to Florida, more specifically Disney. You now have the hard decision of deciding what time of year to go. If you have the flexibility you will definitely want to utilise this and try booking in 'low season' usually classed as January, February and September, October.
July and August are obviously going to be the busiest times to go and the most expensive, so if you can avoid them, do! June is fairly quiet along with March and May.
Take your time to decide the dates, to help choose I used a website called easywdw.com which has full crowd calendars for different times of the year, different weeks within the months etc, it is a really handy resource for picking the perfect time for you! Also take a look at the Disney calendar and see what events are happening at the different times of the year.

Where To Stay?

There are 2 options when it comes to picking where you want to stay; on site or off site.
On site guests experience more perks than those staying off site including things like free dining plans and of course Extra Magic Hours (on sites guests are allowed to go into the parks earlier or stay in the parks longer than off site guests).
Being on Disney property means you stay in the Disney Magic and are of course in very close proximity to all the parks. On site guests can enjoy free transportation around the whole of WDW, meaning if you are staying in Disney for your whole trip you won't need any of your own transportation!
There are 3 types of hotel at Disney which are; value resorts, moderate resorts & deluxe resorts. For a full list of all the resorts click here
If you want to see reviews and pictures I suggest you use Trip Advisor!

Who To Book With?

So you've figured out when you're going and where you're staying. The big question now is who do you book with?! Do you book a package holiday or do you book things separately. Personally I would ALWAYS go with a package holiday but its obviously up to you and what suits your budget.

There are a handful of agents that you can book through; Disney itself, Virgin Holidays, Thomas Cook & First Choice to name a few, they all do different deals so it's worth having a browse of lots of different sites to get a gage on price and then you can compare them and see what works out the cheapest. Although booking direct through Disney gives you lots of perks, I can't stress enough how important it is to go into a shop and book, not only will you get deals and discounts you couldn't get online you can get expert opinions on hotels, dining plans etc.

3 Things To Remember!

Once you've booked your WDW trip there are 3 key things to remember wether you're staying on site or off site!

1) Download the My Disney Experience app, it's free and you can add your booking to it and from there make any changes, choose your all important Magic Band designs, view the park hours, see the park maps etc.

2) Book your dining reservations at the earliest chance possible which is 180 days before your departure date! Seriously do not forget if you don't want to be left disappointed! Popular restaurants can book up super fast! This can be done through the My Disney Experience app, and don't worry you don't have to go on day by day to book your dining, once you've hit 180 days to go you can book for your whole trip!

3) Book your Fast Passes! For on site guests you can do this 60 days before departure and off site guests can do it 30 days before departure. Again this can be done on the My Disney Experience app (now you see why you need to download it!) Don't forget that Fast Passes don't just include rides, they also include meeting characters, shows and parades and the night time spectaculars!

Now onto the exciting part...

MY TRIP!

So Bob and I are going on the 18th September - 2nd October 2017 (and for anyone who knows when my birthday is...yes I will be celebrating my 23rd birthday on this holiday SQUEEEEE).

We Booked the whole holiday through Virgin Holidays, who were absolutely fantastic! We had debated going directly through Disney but because we want to go to Universal, Busch Gardens and do lots of shopping, we ultimately needed a hire car (although we will be using the free transport within Disney) so the logical option was to go with Virgin.

We are staying on site in the Caribbean Beach Hotel, we couldn't decide between Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs but ultimately went with Caribbean Beach because it has 2 sinks in the bathroom (that was literally the deciding factor because we couldn't decide haha)!

We also booked all our tickets, so we have the 14 day ultimate ticket for Disney, 2 Park Universal Ticket and the 3 Park Sea World, Aquatica and Busch Gardens ticket and yes we will be going to Sea World which I know a lot of people will be against but honestly I only want to go for the roller coasters as they are some of my favourites in Florida so sorry not sorry!

We also got a free memory maker, $200 Disney spending money and all our My Magic + was included (Magic Bands etc).
In regards to the dining plans, because we booked so early the 2017 prices for the dining plans haven't been announced yet so when they are we are going to add the Disney Dining Plan to our holiday.

This holiday was an expensive one and is not one to be booked lightly, we both know that we now have to save, save, save but honestly we both know it is going to be so worth it.
I am so excited to be going to the best place on earth with my favourite person on earth and spending my birthday out there just makes it even more exciting and special!

So there you have it, a few things to think about when booking a Disney holiday!
If there are any questions you'd like to ask feel free to tweet me, email me or leave a comment!

Lots of love

Lifestyle | Binge Worthy Netflix Shows

Hi blog friends!!

I have done a post like this before which you can read here, but my Netflix binge sessions change constantly and I now have some new absolute gems to share with you guys!

How To Get Away with Murder

OH. MY. GOD. If you are not watching this WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? This is one of the best TV shows I have watched in so long.
It follows a group of law students who work for their law teacher, who basically teaches them 'how to get away with murder'.
The story is literally so gripping and tense, this is 100% binge worthy because you just have to know what happens in the next episode.
I started watching this show on a train, not realising there was a lot of sex in it so got a few odd looks, which was fun haha! Also it has Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas from Harry Potter) in it, who is HOT!!!!
I seriously cannot get over how good this show is!

Making A Murderer

If you haven't been living under a rock, then I'm sure you have heard about the new Netflix documentary called Making A Murderer. It follows the real life story of Steven Avery and the trial of the death of Teresa Halbach which Steven was accused of.
It is filmed over 10 years, starting after Steven was released from prison after being wrongly accused of rape and spending 18 years of his life in prison.
This documentary will have you shouting at your laptop/tv, thinking about the case constantly and whilst watching it constantly changing your mind between guilty and innocent. Personally I think Steven was innocent but you will have to watch it to make up your mind. Also I think the treatment of Brandon Dassey was, in my opinion absolutely horrific but again you will have to watch it to see for yourself. This is totally binge worthy and can be watched in a day!

Brooklyn Nine Nine

They finally put season 2 on Netflix recently and I am so happy. This show is a comedy about a precinct in Brooklyn and it is hilarious! It has Andy Samberg (singer in the Lonely Island) in and Terry Crews and is about the daily goings on and the cases they have to solve. I am not doing this show justice at all but it is seriously so funny and very binge worthy, my dad, my brother and I watched about 10 episodes today because it is just so addictive!

Louis Theroux Documentaries

I have watched all of Louis' documentaries before but recently I have been so in to them. I love the way Louis talks and is so direct with his questions, he doesn't care if it offends anyone. My favourites are The Most Hated Family in America, Gambling in Las Vegas and Beware of the Tiger. I seriously recommend these documentaries if you want to watch something both entertaining and gripping and informative. Louis Theroux is definitely my all time favourite documentary producer!

Those are the 4 programmes I have been absolutely loving recently on Netflix that I would class as binge worthy! What are you watching at the moment!?

Fashion | Nike Trainer Edit

Hi blog friends!!

I thought I would try something a bit different on KDL today. Over the Christmas period I was lucky enough to be given some money which I used to buy three pairs of new trainers.

Now I know I am not the most photogenic, this face could only be used as the face of 'what happens when you eat too many McDonalds' because it is so damn round but I thought I would give it a go. I had a few anxieties about doing a 'fashion' type post because I am not the most fashionable at all but I wanted to show off how I would wear these trainers and what I pair them with.

The three pairs of trainers are all Nikes, 2 completely new pairs and 1 pair of re-purchases! So please be nice, like I said I'm no model...here we go!

Air Max 95 OG Grape

The first pair of trainers are the Air Max 95 OG Grapes. Now I know these won't be for everyone but personally I adore them, they are the comfiest trainers I own and yes they are that white! I won't be wearing them a lot till I can get my hands on some crepe spray which covers the trainers and then water, mud, grime etc will just wash off them! I got these beauties from my local Size? as they were sold out literally EVERYWHERE! I have my brother to thank for introducing me to these (he will be thanked a lot in this post). They are true to size but watch out as they are very wide shoes!

Outfit:
North Face jumper £?
Primark Coat £25
Air Max 95's £80 in the Size? sale

Nike Air Max Thea

So these are the re-purchased trainers, the Nike Air Max Thea in black, white & wolf grey. I had a pair of these which I completely ruined, they had no grip, the inside fabric had worn down to the plastic that shapes the shoe and was stabbing me in the ankle every time I was walking. So as you can tell these are a well loved pair of trainers to wear them to death and re-purchase them. They are perfect for sport and working out and just as fashion trainers. To me they look really sporty so tend to wear them with sports kit. They are true to size as well.

Outfit:
Pink (VS) Sports Bra £19
Pink jumper £40
Workout Leggings (TK Maxx) £7.99

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoskis

Lastly are probably my FAVOURITE pair of trainers, the Nike SB Janoskis. They are so comfy and literally go with everything! The shape and style of them is so sleek that it makes it easy to pair with any outfit, the classic black and white is also really simple and sleek as well which I love. They came up a bit small, as I am usually a 4.5 in all nikes but had to size up to a 5 in these as they don't do half sizes and the 4 was tiny, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of getting them, but other than that they are amazing and I love them so much!

Outfit:
Ralph Lauren Cap (my brothers) £15

I want to thank my brother for helping me out with this post and letting me borrow his clothing and his time! I hope you liked my first ever fashion post, please tell me what you think!
Which are your favourite pair of trainers?!

Lots of love

Beauty | Current Face Base

Hi blog friends!!

When it comes to make up I feel like a really solid base is absolutely essential, once you have a good base routine the rest will come naturally!
I have to say I am a serial foundation buyer, but have never found one that I was like yep this is the one forever...until now obviously! I always love foundation for a few weeks then I start to resent buying it and think it looks awful, until I started using Double Wear and now I understand why people rave about it!

I have 2 base routines, one is a light routine and the second is my proper full coverage base routine they are fairly similar, but I will start with the light routine.

Firstly I prime my face with The Body Shop's Instablur, next I put on the Kiko Radiant Touch highlight with my fingers on my forehead, nose and cheekbones. Then I proceed to use the Dr Jart BB Water Fuse which I just apply with my fingers all over my face, once that has set a little bit I cover up any imperfections lightly with my Nars Creamy Concealer (Vanilla) which I buff in with the Real Techniques blending sponge, and there you have it! It looks nice and dewy and very effortless! Now onto my full coverage routine which I would use when I go out or am going into uni etc.

So it starts off the same I prime my face with Instablur, I then start with my foundation, Estēe Lauder Double Wear (Cool Bone) and put it on with the Zoeva Silk Finish brush then buff it gently with the Real Techniques sponge for an airbrushed look. Then I take my Creamy Concealer and again cover any imperfections and buff in with the sponge, next I take my MAC Studio Fix in N4 and pat that all over my face with the sponge that it comes with for a matte look or if I want a more dewy look I will just pop that on my T-zone and obviously over my concealer so it doesn't slide everywhere during the day haha! Then I finish with the Kiko highlight which I apply lightly with the Zoeva Face Shape brush.

I love every single one of these products and would recommend them 100 times to everyone! Right now I cannot get enough of the MAC Studio Fix, it has such AMAZING coverage!
One of my New Years monthly resolutions is to learn to contour so that is why there is no contour or bronze in my base routine just highlight! Once I have learned I'm sure it will make a sneaky appearance in my base routine!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my base routines! These work so well for my skin and the second routine really does give amazing coverage and makes me feel so good about my skin!
What products do you have in your base routine?!

Lots of love

Disney | The Disneyland Paris Tag

Hi blog friends!!

I have seen this tag on a few blogs and I feel like I have been enough times now to be able to answer these questions.
I love DLP and right now my boyfriend and I and in the midst of planning a Walt Disney World trip for next year which I am SO excited about, so in the mean time I thought I would try this out!

1. How old were you when you first visited DLP?

I think I was around 10, I went with my family and I have never been so excited in my life!!

2. Which of the Disney hotels have you stayed in, if any, and do you have a favourite?

I personally haven't stayed in a Disney hotel unfortunately, I have stayed in their partner hotels and my favourite is The Dream Castle Hotel! It was so nice and we got it for a really good price, as some of the Disney hotels were quite pricey, but honestly you spend more time in the parks that to me it doesn't matter about hotel.
But if I had the chance, I would love to stay in The Disneyland Hotel!!!

3. Let us in on where the best places to eat within both parks and the Disney Village are.

In the Disneyland Park my favourite is Casey's Corner, that hotdog with cheese is heavenly. I'd love to go the Blue Lagoon or Walt's!
In the Studios Park I like the Blockbuster Cafe and I would love to go to Bistro Chez Remy.
Finally in the Disney Village is definitely the Rainforest Cafe or Cafe Mickey!!

4. Where is your first port of call when entering the Disneyland Park?

To either go and get a fast pass, usually for BTM or to just browse the shops on Main Street and work my way up to the castle and take some pictures.

5. Do you have a favourite ‘land’? If so why?

I love all the different lands for different reasons but I think my favourite is Frontierland. I really love BTM and Phantom Manor, I love the Western theme and also you can meet Jack Skellington there and he is literally my fave.
In saying that I also LOVE Fantasy Land, I mean how can you not it has everything that I love about Disney and makes me feel so happy walking around it.

6. Which ride could you ride over and over and never tire of?

Tower of Terror without a doubt, don't even have to think about that one!

7. Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios park?

I love them both for different reasons, the Studios Park is my favourite for rides and action but come on the Disneyland Park is where dreams come true! The atmosphere is always amazing in the original park.

8. Tell us about your favourite character meeting ever at DLP.

Meeting Mickey Mouse at Meet Mickey on my 21st Birthday! It was seriously so amazing, he sang (mimed) me happy birthday and couldn't stop hugging me and pointing at my custom ears. It was just a really great interaction and made my whole day even though it was still pretty early in the morning!

9. What is a parade/show from any year that is most memorable to you?

Either the Christmas Parade or the classic Magic on Parade, that song gets stuck in your head all day!! 'Disneyland's the place where joy lights up each face' is my favourite line.

10. You can only ride one – Mad Hatters Teacups or Dumbo the Flying Elephant?

Mad Hatters Teacups, as I have never been on the Dumbo ride the queue is always SO long!

11. What do you think is the best attraction in the Walt Disney Studios park?

I can't pick one so here are a few. Tower of Terror, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Crush's Coaster, RC Racer and the Motor Action show is amazing!

12. Describe your happiest Disneyland Paris memory of all time.

I have 2 happiest Disneyland Paris memories.
The first is when I went to DLP in November, I had the best interactions with the characters in the parade (which sounds weird because they are moving) but I was wearing some custom ears with Rapunzel and Snow on them and they both saw them and Rapunzel and Flynn freaked out it was amazing! I also had many a kiss blown to me from Rafiki because I kept shouting I love you (he is one of my all time favourite characters).
My Second happiest memory is going to DLP with my boyfriend for my birthday. It was the most magical/perfect weekend I could have asked for and *lame alert* when we kissed in front of the castle, I kind of felt like a Princess!

So there you have it, my Disneyland Paris tag! I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you have been then I hope you do this, it was so fun thinking back on all my amazing trips, and yes I am hoping to plan a trip for this year and FINALLY get an annual passport!
Oh and if you're wondering where I got my custom ears from, they're from the amazing Queen Ursula Uk check out her etsy shop here and read my post on her ears here!

Lots of love

Beauty | My New Skin Saviours

Hi blog friends!!

Over the past 2 months my skin has really taken a turn for the worse due to stress and the weather constantly changing from being super cold to having the warmest December ever.
My main battle I have with my skin is acne, dry patches and hyper pigmentation especially around my nose.
That was until I started using 2 of Kiehl's holy grail products and I can totally see why people rave about them!
They are the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution.

Ever since I started to use the dark spot solution the redness around my nose has decreased rapidly and has also faded some scars I had from previous spots.
I use this product day and night after my toner as a serum then apply my favourite moisturiser, the vitamin e intensive moisturiser from The Body Shop.
I use around 5 drops and concentrate on the hyper pigmentation around my nose and mouth area, then I work it all over my face. It can be used as a spot treatment or used as a serum for your whole face, whatever you prefer.

Now onto what is my all time favourite skin care product of all time. After using the midnight recovery concentrate for little over a week, my skin already looks and feels incredibly smooth and rejuvenated. I use this product before the dark spot solution at night (obviously). The smell is beautiful, it has a light lavender scent which is really relaxing and soothing. I use around 3 drops and smooth it all over my face with my fingers, concentrating on the parts that are particularly in need of some tlc!
Now when I wake up in the morning, my skin looks and feels so much nicer and has a glow to it instead of being dull, red and full of acne.
This product really is worth the hype, it has changed my skin forever and this is now a firm holy grail product in my skin care routine.

I have recently ordered the Daily Reviving Concentrate and the Skin Rescuer Moisturiser in the hopes that they will also help make my skin feel even better.
I literally can't even explain how amazing these 2 products are, my skin is spot free and on its way to being completely hyper pigmentation free as well, and for me that is incredible because I can't remember the last time the area around my nose was my normal skin colour!
I would recommend these products to absolutely everyone.

Have you tried these products before, what are your thoughts on them?!

Lots of love

Beauty | Beauty Products I Got For Christmas

Hi blog friends!!

First off Happy New Year, I hope you all had fab Christmases and New Years Eve's! I can't quite believe it's 2016 already, how crazy is that!
I know I have said this so many times but from now I am going to be blogging more frequently and I am going to schedule my life better ha!

Since it has just been Christmas I was lucky enough to be given a few beauty items and wanted to share them with you (I am not trying to show off in any way, I personally love reading posts like this so sorry if you think it's boasting I promise that isn't the intention).

Firstly these are the presents that I received from either my family or boyfriend.
I got 4 perfumes, Ghost Girl, Ever Bloom, Princess and Ari. Ghost Girl and Princess are 2 of my absolute favourites and I have just run out of both so was perfect timing.
I had a sample of Ever Bloom and absolutely loved it so asked for that and Ari is literally my favourite perfume at the moment so opted for the roll on as it is perfect for putting in your handbag!
I was lucky enough to be given the full set of Bumble and Bumble's thickening range, which includes the shampoo, conditioner and hair spray and this is one of my favourite B and B ranges.
I also received the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed face mask which I'm excited about.
Finally I got 4 pieces of make up, I needed more Benefit Roller Lash so got that, 2 MAC lipsticks Velvet Teddy (my new absolute FAVE!) and Speed Dial and finally I got something I have been wanting for SO long, Estēe Lauder Double Wear foundation which I can say is absolutely perfect!!! I have the colour Cool Bone and it is a perfect match.
I was so happy about everything and extremely lucky, I can't believe how generous my family and boyfriend were!

I was also extremely lucky to be given some money and so I accidentally (yeah right!) went on a bit of a splurge!

Since I had the roll on Ari perfume, I decided to get the big bottle of it so I could spray it on my scarves and clothes etc and I didn't know that Boots did The Library of Fragrance and I found my all time favourite scent Orange Blossom which smells incredible, I love it.
I finally got my hands on the Urban Decay Naked Smokey palette, which I have been dying to use but I wanted to photograph it first so now I finally can!!!
In Boots I picked up a new Real Techniques make up sponge, because quite frankly mine is absolutely gross and broken, the Miss Sporty 10 hour stay concealer in light, Rimmel Glam Eyes liquid eye liner, Barry M Lip Boss lip gloss in 3 (it does have a name but I can't remember it Office Romance maybe?) and the 17 Define and Conquer contour kit.
From The Body Shop I got myself the Tea Tree Clay Mask which is so refreshing and really lovely.
Finally I got myself 3 new lipsticks; MAC Please Me, MAC Ellie Goulding edition Without Your Love and YSL Rouge Volupté Shine in 8. Finally, I also got myself a MAC Studio Fix powder in N4.

So those were the things I was given and purchased myself, like I said I am beyond lucky to be able to buy these things and also be given these lovely presents, I am so grateful! I can't wait to try everything out!
Oh and in case you were wondering the pug rug is from Tesco, and I got it from my boyfriend!

What did you guys get for Christmas?!

Lots of love
