Bondi Sands

Hi blog friends!!

As it gets closer and closer to summer (with rarely any sun) and my natural tan from my holiday is sadly fading, this time of year is prime time for fake tanning! It's not quite sunny enough to get a natural tan but you can't go into summer paler than a ghost, so the logical answer...fake tan away!

I have tried and tested a few fake tans from expensive lotions to gradual tanners to wash off's for a night out and I thought I'd found my holy grail which was the Lauren's Way mousse in medium, that was until I was browsing the Superdrug website and stumbled upon Bondi Sands! It comes in 2 colours light/medium and dark and so many different types of tan. I have always been a mousse gal so that's what I picked in light/medium and can I just say how absolutely amazing this stuff is, I love Lauren's Way and I will still use it but this will be my go to from now on!

The best thing about this fake is the smell, and for all the girls and boys out there who fake tan you know how bad some of them smell and how you smell like a biscuit for 6 hours, well Bondi Sands smells like COCONUT! Honestly I cannot stop smelling my arms, I smell like a coconut macaroon! The application of the product is flawless as well, so smooth and easy to rub in with no streaks or dripping, I used the St. Tropez applicator mitt (£3.99) as the Bondi Sands one was not on the superdrug webiste but I have literally just seen it on FeelUnique (£3.99) haha!! Before you tan you MUST exfoliate, it gives the tan a much better finish, for exfoliating I tend to use exfoliating gloves but I recently discovered the TanOrganic TanErase Ultimate Exfoliator (£14.99) which not only preps the skin ready for a good ol' tanning sesh but removes old tan as well, it is not abrasive or harsh on the skin and can be used wet or dry which is fantastic! If you want to go for something a little cheaper with just as good exfoliation I recommend either Zoella's new Scrubbing Me Softly body scrub (£7) or Palmers Cocoa body scrub (£3.29) (which smells like a tub of chocolate), they are both fantastic!

So far I have only seen Bondi Sands for sale in Superdrug and online and also on, it is a pretty reasonable price ranging from around £9 - £15 which I would definitely be willing to pay as this fake tan is amazing!

Have you tried Bondi Sands before?! Let me know your thoughts!!

Lots of love
